Rebecca A. Dietzen

Rebecca A. Dietzen is an Associate with the Farrell Law Group. Her experience with the firm, as well as her prior experience at an exclusively Plaintiff’s litigation firm, make Rebecca an experienced and well-rounded attorney, equipped to handle all of her clients needs. Rebecca has a particular interest in helping clients avoid unnecessary litigation by both developing good business practices and by utilizing cost-efficient means to resolve disputes.

Rebecca’s labor and employment practice focuses on defending employers against claims of wrongful termination, discrimination, sexual harassment, breach of contract, wage and hour issues, prevailing wage claims, trade secret/confidentiality and leave laws. Rebecca also counsels employers on best practices for legal compliance in these areas. She has also developed a sub-specialty representing clients faced with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessibility lawsuits.

Rebecca’s business and commercial litigation practice focuses on the representation of individuals, LLCs, corporations and other business entities in litigation arising out of contractual disputes, involuntary dissolution actions and business sales.

Rebecca received her B.A. in Law and Society, with honors, from University of California at Santa Barbara in 2001 and was awarded her J.D., cum laude, from University of Pacific, McGeorge in 2004.

While in law school, Rebecca was a judicial extern to Magistrate Judge (now U.S. District Court Judge for the Eastern District) Kimberly J. Mueller, worked as a student lawyer for the Federal Defender’s office, served as president of the McGeorge Women’s Caucus and was a member of the McGeorge Mock Trial competition team for two years. In 2001, Rebecca’s mock trial team won the American Trial Lawyers Association (now AAJ) Western Regional competition.
